Ante-natal Clinic
Care in pregnancy is lead by the obstetric and midwifery teams based at Royal Preston Hospital and Chorley Hospital. You can self-refer to the midwife if you are pregnany by visiting the self-referral service your midwife will then arrange all follow up appointments and scans.
Baby Clinic
All of the doctors see children every day but four of our doctors specialise in assessing children to see that they are growing and developing normally, both physically and mentally. This clinic is run jointly by the Doctors and Health Visitors.
The clinic runs on a Tuesday between 9.30 a.m. and 10.30 a.m. At this clinic babies and children receive their immunisations, checks of growth and development, and advice on immunisations. This clinic is a well baby clinic only.
Children may also attend this clinic for pre-school booster vaccinations.
All children will be called for vaccination through the computer system run by the Health Authority. If this is inconvenient, they can be seen at any other surgery by appointment.
