With increasing numbers of people travelling abroad, both for holiday or business purposes, we strongly recommend that you seek advice from the Practice Nurses regarding the appropriate vaccinations for your destination, and also, if necessary, advice about anti-malarial tablets. The Practice is regularly updated on international requirements and will not only advise on compulsory vaccinations but also on those which are advisable as an added precaution. Please plan well ahead so that the full course of treatment may be planned before your departure. We advise you to contact us at least 8 weeks before you are due to leave. We can also advise on how to avoid the all too common stomach upsets. An appointment is required for this service.
You can check the Fit for Travel website for any advice on travelling abroad and any injections you may need.
