Social Prescribing is a new service that connects people to a range of non-clinical services available within the local community.

It can assist you through;

  • One to one support
  • Self help advice
  • Access to social groups
  • Managing your wellbeing

This service helps;

  • Develop the way in which you think
  • Overcome your fears
  • Take control and live your life

What we do;

An initial assessment with our social prescriber will look at your requirements and then signpost you to available services within your area.

We can help you get involved with;

  • Local activities and sports
  • Local craft groups
  • Baby and toddler groups
  • Befriending services
  • Support groups
  • Friendship & social groups

We work along side other services such as;

  • Age concern
  • N-Compass


This service is available to patients at The Ryan Medical Centre.
