MISSED APPOINTMENTS

The number of patients that fail to attend for their appointment has resulted in patients being unable to see the Doctor or Nurse on the day they wished to.

In an attempt to try and resolve this the practice has developed the following policy;

If you (or if you are the parent of a child under the age of thirteen) fail to attend for an appointment without informing us we will either write to you or send an SMS if we have consent asking if there was a specific problem preventing you from letting us know.

If you fail to attend on three occasions within a 12 month period you may be removed from the practice list and have to find an alternative GP practice.
